The Mission of the UTEP Master Teacher Academies

The Mission of the UTEP Master Teacher Academies is to increase the capacity for high-quality science, technology, and mathematics education in the El Paso region by increasing the numbers of fully certified Master Teachers in STEM fields. We are committed to building program of professional resources and formal and informal instruction that will ensure that participating teachers perform effectively on the TExMaT certification tests and in their roles as Master Teachers in their districts beyond the completion of the project.
